Il Vulcino farm is located in a lush agricultural area 100 km north of Rome.

Etruscan civilizations already thrived here c. 2,500 years ago, as evidenced by numerous historic and artistic artifacts found in etruscan tombs.

We are close to Bolsena Lake, the largest volcanic lake in Europe. Thanks to the eruption of this volcano c. 300,000 years ago, this area has an amazing array of biodiversity and very fertile soil, which makes for particularly tasty products.

The most important olive cultivar here is “Caninese”, which is one of the oldest native varieties in Italy.

Of historic interest is Vulci Natural Park, with Vulci Castle, its magnificent Etruscan-Roman bridge and the evocative remnants of ancient Etruscan cities.
