Il Vulcino is an organic farm stretching out over 23 hectares of land. We have put together a team of people from varying entrepreneurial and professional backgrounds in farming and food processing.
We are a heterogeneous group of people, not all young, who like to experiment and innovate. We are well aware of the importance of eating a healthy, high quality diet. All our crops are grown organically. We then process some of them into innovative foods combining quality, flavour and health: black garlic, marinated garlic, black garlic sauces, extra-virgin olive oil, chilli-infused and lemon-infused olive oil,
We believe that this is the only way forward for the future.
Eugénie Kunst Grigolini was born in Holland, grew up in the United States and Great Britain, and has been living in Italy for the past 30 years. She combines being a classical musician, the first great passion of her life, with her love for nature, cultivating plants and tending her olive orchards. She is a gourmet and an excellent cook.
What she loves about her farm is its fertile volcanic soil which produces particularly flavourful fruits and vegetables, and the special people who work with her.
Eugénie has always had a passion for extra-virgin olive oil and being a gourmet she has worked hard on obtaining the olive oil she dreamed of. After each harvest Eugénie carefully blends the different cultivars until she is satisfied and the result is …… Il Vulcino olive oils.
